This report compiles the research findings from the Women's Participation in Southeast Asia's Cybersecurity Sector project which was completed to understand the cybersecurity workforce in Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Mongolia, and Thailand, identify gaps in the workforce to equip these five countries with the cybersecurity requirements of the future, and understand women's participation in the sector across these five geographies. The research has also been completed in support of the ITU's Women in Cyber (WiC) Mentorship Asia-Pacific Programme and lays the foundation for future iterations of the Programme through data driven targeted capacity and skills development.
